Check however if you miss the transport how you would get to the training college and the airport.

The airline will help you open a local bank account to transfer funds accordingly. Inform your current bank about your relocation so that you can ensure you still have access to your local funds while you are overseas if you need.




Familiarize yourself with public transportation and local apps for ordering taxis such as Uber.




What To Take With You


Moving to a new city and aiming to survive for three months without needing to buy anything, except for food, requires strategic planning and packing. Here's a comprehensive list of items you may consider taking with you:


1. Clothing:


Clothing suitable for all seasons especially the season you are going and appropriate to the local culture

Comfortable and versatile shoes.



2. Personal Care:


Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, etc.) to last three months.

Basic first aid kit (band-aids, pain relievers, any necessary medications). Make sure that for any medication that a. its allowed in that country and b. you have your prescription details with you.

DO NOT TAKE ANY STRONG PAINKILLERS WITH YOU (This includes painkillers that contain any opioids or ingredients such as codeine, take paracetamol and ibuprofen only)

Taking care of your mental health is extremely important when moving to a new city
